  HOW THE COACHING PROGRAM WORKS AND WHAT'S INCLUDED

When you sign up for the coaching program you receive 12 points that you can use for any of the 4 steps in the program.

  • The first step is to develop a great sales plan which is 3 points. Developing the plan will involve one-on-one coaching time with me over the phone. We generally complete the plan in the first 30 days after you sign up.
  • The remaining 9 points can be used in steps 2-4 (listed below) any time over 12 months. Additional points can be purchased in groups of six for $660.
  • I will help you select the best idea and sales skills Webinars to meet your sales income goals. All Webinars last 60+ minutes, are live, interactive, taught by me and recorded so you can review them later.
  • Each month you receive a newsletter and prospect letter that you can personalize and send to your clients and prospects (see below for details).
  • We will get together for a coaching session when I attend ASI, PPAI, Promotions East or SAAC shows.
  • Each month you receive a sales tip along with the new Webinar schedule.
  • You can call me or email me with quick questions.
  • You can sell my 7 Exclusive Ideas (see below for details).
  • You earn MAS/CAS credits after you complete your 12 points.
  • Several supplier partners offer The Promotion Coach (TPC) Bucks when you sell their line. TPC Bucks are used to help offset your training investment.
  • The time commitment is minimal. Coaching requires 1-2 hours of homework. Building your prospect campaign will take about two hours. The Webinars take about one hour a month. When you stop and think about it, we work for our customers 240 hours a month. Can you find two hours a month to make yourself better? I think so.

Step One: Sales Plan (3 Points)

  • You will complete a sales assessment and send me your billings report.
  • With this information I build you a Million Dollar Territory Account Plan plus a 5 Year Sales and Income Goal Forecast.
  • Together we build an Expertise and Coaching Plan to achieve your goals.
  • I make sure you are calling on the right businesses and the right prospects.
  • This is accomplished over the phone through three one-on-one coaching sessions.

Step Two: Marketing Yourself Best Practices (1 Point)

  • You will take a live Webinar to learn prospecting best practices.
  • I will help you design a prospecting campaign so you can stand out from the 50 to 100 other salespeople you are competing with to gain appointments with prospective customers.
  • You will learn the best organizations from which to get referrals.
  • You will learn how to build a Professional Prospecting Campaign.
  • You will learn how to leave a Professional Voice Mail Message.
  • You will learn how to overcome objections on the phone to gain appointments.
  • With the help of examples you will write a Personal Executive Summary/BIO to use for prospecting.
  • You will receive 10 prospect letter templates to use with your prospecting campaign.
  • You will receive a copy of my Agency Executive Summary.
  • You will receive a copy of my Agency PowerPoint with promotion research studies that you can personalize for your company.

Step Three: Consultative Selling Course (1 Point Each)

You will learn how to consultatively interview a customer so you gain assignments of $25,000 to $100,000+. There are 5 courses offered. Each course gives you the best questions to ask and an interview process to win big sales.

  • Course 1 – Learn the 7 Step Promotion Interview Process
  • Course 2 – Learn how to Interview a Sales Manager, Channel Manager or National Account Manager
  • Course 3 – Learn how to Interview a Marketing Manager, Product Manager or Marcom Manager

Step Four: Top 40 Ideas to Sell (1 Point Each)

To sell $500,000 to $1,000,000+ per year you have to learn to make sales of $25,000 or more. With each idea Webinar you will learn: the $ales opportunity you can win, best questions for interviewing the customer, how to back up your successful idea with facts and research, and how to propose and budget the idea. You will also get a photo of several of my case studies that you can show your clients.

  • The Webinar ideas are based on the 1000s of projects I have sold with a few ideas from Key Suppliers.
  • All idea Webinars involve promotional products. I define a promotional product as anything I can sell the client to help achieve their business objective.
  • The idea Webinars will give you a whole new perspective from which to sell promotional products and will result in sales of $10,000 and $100,000+ per sale.
  • You will receive a PowerPoint presentation with each idea Webinar that can be customized and presented to YOUR clients. In addition, many of the Webinars include proposals, case studies, budget examples and prospect letters. You will receive copies of all the documents referenced in the Webinar.
  • Webinars are broken down by business objectives so you can sell ideas based on your client’s objectives.
